PUBLIC NOTICE — LIVE BURN TRAINING
The Burgaw Police Department is excited to host its first -ever National
Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in
Downtown Burgaw, inviting residents of all ages to come together for

relationships, foster trust, and promote safer, more connected
communities.
The evening will feature food trucks, live music, games and activities for children, and resource booths highlighting
local programs and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local leaders, first responders, and area
organizations, learn more about the resources available throughout Burgaw, and enjoy an evening of family -
friendly fun while connecting with neighbors and those who serve the community.
"This event is about more than just having fun —it's about building relationships," said Police Chief James Rowell.
"We look forward to meeting our community, strengthening connections, and creating an evening where everyone
feels welcome."
The Burgaw Police Department encourages everyone to bring their family, invite their neighbors, and join in this
exciting community celebration. Whether you're new to Burgaw or have called it home for years, National Night
Out is a great opportunity to meet those who help serve our community and enjoy an evening together.

Take Note!
Pender County Register of Deeds
and Tax Office has been
relocated from the Howard Holly
Building to the former Health
Department building located at
803 S. Walker Street.
Burgaw Baptist Church recently visited the
Burgaw Fire Department, Burgaw Police
Department, and Pender County Jail to deliver
goodie bags, offer prayers, and personally thank
the men and women who faithfully serve our
community. We are grateful for a community that
continues to show love, appreciation, and
unwavering support for our first responders.
Don’t forget to show
your lawn some love this
summer! Regular
mowing not only keeps
your yard looking neat
but also helps maintain
the charm of our
beautiful town. A well-
kept lawn is a small but
meaningful way to
contribute to our shared
community pride. So,
dust off those
lawnmowers and let's
make our town shine!
FRIENDLY REMINDER:
High grass and blowing
grass clippings into the
street is against town
ordinance!

• Remove any valuables from your vehicles
and make sure they are locked
