Burgaw Fire Department launches
Ride Along Program
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We are excited to welcome the arrival of spring!
The season brings a refreshing sense of
renewal and energy to our community.
The trees are blossoming, the weather
is warming, and it’s the perfect time to
get outdoors and enjoy all that our
beautiful town has to offer.
Spring in Burgaw means the return of outdoor activities
for everyone to enjoy. Our parks are ready to welcome
families for picnics, walks, and playtime. Don ’t forget to
check out our upcoming events. This week we celebrate
Arbor Day and the planting of trees!
With spring comes a renewed focus on growth. This
season, we ’re continuing our efforts to enhance
recreational spaces, support local businesses, and plan
for future improvements.
As you may know, the Parks Foundation is in full swing
for the fundraiser for the Splash Pad, which promises to
bring even more outdoor recreation to our town. Your
participation and support mean so much to us. Thank you
for the support for this year’s Mayor’s Gala.
This season, we encourage you to get
involved in our community. Whether
it’s volunteering for our town clean -
up, attending a local event, or simply
enjoying a stroll through our parks,
your engagement helps Burgaw
continue to thrive.
I look forward to seeing you all around town as we
embrace the spirit of spring!
Mayor Dawson

A Quick Reminder for
Our Wonderful Residents
As the growing season kicks into high gear, it's
time to show your lawn some love! Regular
mowing not only keeps your yard looking neat but
also helps maintain the charm of our beautiful
town. A well-kept lawn is a small but meaningful
way to contribute to our shared community pride.
So, dust off those lawnmowers and let's make our
town shine!
FRIENDLY REMINDER:
When mowing grass, please DO NOT blow
grass clippings into the street! This causes storm
drainage issues in town!
Burgaw's Water Supply:
Clean, Reliable, and Locally Sourced
We're proud to let our community know that Burgaw
provides its own locally sourced water! Our town works
hard to ensure that the water we supply is of the highest
quality, safe, and reliable for every household. You can
feel confident knowing that our water meets and exceeds
the necessary standards, so you and your family can enjoy
clean water every day.
If you have any questions or concerns about your water
service, we're always here to help. Thank you for trusting
us to keep our town's water flowing smoothly!
